Eight skills are active. Each one caps at level 10 and grants a placeable trophy at the cap. Icons are orange at levels 1 to 3, yellow at 4 to 6, green at 7 to 9, and light yellow at the maximum. Higher levels take longer per point.
Programming and Crafting were removed. Programming left the skills tab in Version 0.12.6. Legacy trophies for removed skills cannot be earned again or bought back.
Extra copies of an unlocked skill trophy can be bought from Decorate, Decorations, Trophies. The listed price for those skill trophies is $5,000. The Premium trophy is listed at $10,000.
Where each skill moves

Stack the idle time
- Read a book while a game is running to move Intelligence and Gaming together, and to hold Fun up.
- Most instruments can be played while a game runs. The Classic Piano, Drum Kit, and Fine Piano are the documented exceptions.
- Writing on a computer can be paired with reading so Fun does not crash while the book is typed.
- Athletic work spends Energy and Hygiene. A Nutrition Bar is documented at plus 10 percent athletic points for one minute. Protein Powder is documented at plus 20 percent for two minutes. Workout Fatigue raises Fun and lowers Energy and Hygiene afterward.
- Gardening skill does not scale with the price of the plant. A cheap, fast plant is enough for levels. Expensive plants are a decoration choice.
School classes are worth using when you are already at Bloxburg High School for work or for the reported seniority bonus. Home stations are better when you want a loop you can repeat without the walk.
